What Randal Robinson noted of Haiti, may soon also be true of the United States: that it is much easier for a Black president to implement policies that would be opposed and often defeated if they were proposed by a white president. This may occur in 2009 with Barack Obama. We can see this because Obama has already said that as president he will send U.S. troops into Pakistan if people he wants to capture cannot be captured in other ways. Doing this would lead to one of the bloodiest wars in the history of our world, because it would spark a civil war in Pakistan with the United States Military, and many other people from outside Pakistan involved in that war.
In many other areas, I believe that Obama would do things that would help many people, but I believe that this war would be by far the greatest impact he would have on the greatest number of people. And by far this impact would be negative. The harm that this war would cause, would make the current war in Iraq look like an inconsequential skirmish in comparison.
